McClellan Creative offers classes for individuals and groups, primarily via Zoom with some in-person venues.
Led by formally-trained Artist and Instructor, Loretta McClellan, she been teaching all ages professionally for over 30 years. Having received Youth Protection Training, she has also volunteered as an Art Teacher in Fine Art Practice and Art History in K-8 schools. Loretta’s professional experience as a creative began with exceptional education and training from teachers who not only taught her Fine Art principles and technique, but also helped her discover that creativity is synonymous with joy!
Loretta offers individual classes for all ages in Traditional Fine Art Practice: from Beginning to Advanced in Drawing (including Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain exercises), and Watercolor and Acrylic Painting. Art History can also be included in her Art Practice curriculum. Her warm and nurturing, yet structured teaching style provides the ideal learning environment, both in-person and virtual.
A writer, poet and six-time author in addition to her Fine Art and Design pursuits, Loretta enjoys partnering the Visual Arts with the Literary Arts and/or Meditative Arts for a unique menu of individual and group classes via Zoom, perfect for lifelong learning, self-care and well-being, team building, parties, anniversaries, reunions, “Girls’ or Guys’ Night Out,” or just because!
